Our past record of advising clients in a variety of sectors has provided our team with intimate knowledge of the legal requirements relating to different sectors of the Qatari economy.

We have acted for a broad range of entities in relation to mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and the structuring of funds. Our team has considerable experience in carrying out due diligence work in Qatar and we are well equipped to provide advice regardless of the size or the complexity of the deal.

Although we have primarily acted as local counsel in relation to many of the major assignments we have worked on, we have also acted as lead counsel in some instances where the subject of the transaction, including the financing, is Qatari based. We therefore have experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating an array of transaction documentation such as sale and purchase agreements and joint venture agreements.

Our team advises clients on all corporate related areas of law, including more specific regulatory matters such as competition law and the listing requirements of the Doha Securities Market.
