• Advising a major US oil company on different aspects of a contemplated US$4.3 billion GTL plant in Qatar

• Advising Technip on a €100 million LNG Debottlenecking project plant with Qatargas

• Advising Qatar Fuel Additives Company on the restructuring and a US$300 million refinancing of its debts

• Advising Ras Girtas Power Company on a range of commercial matters for the ongoing projects they work on in Ras Laffan Industrial City

• Advising Qatar Petroleum on a range of commercial matters for the ongoing energy projects in Qatar

Shipping Matters

• Advising both the borrower (Qatar Gas Transportation Company (Nakilat)) and the lenders on the $7 billion vessel financing (consisting of 3 tranches) for 25 of the worlds largest LNG carriers

• Advising the Middle East Dredging Company in relation to the registration of a vessel in Qatar

• Advising BNP Paribas on its €6.6 million financing of a vessel for the Middle East Dredging Company

Construction Projects

• Advising a major developer on the development of 3 mixed use towers in the Lusail City development

• Advising the project owners on the US$168 million financing of the Four Seasons West Bay which involved a syndicated loan with a Sharia compliant tranche

• Advising the borrowers in relation to the US$400 million loan agreement to fund the City Center Phase II and Phase III development

• Advising the lenders on the US$600 million Sharia compliant financing of Qanat Quartier, a multi purpose real estate project by United Development Company (UDC)

• Advising the lenders on the QR1.1 billion Sharia compliant financing of Medina Centrale, a project by UDC in The Pearl

• Advising one of the largest developers on The Pearl in relation to the sale of various towers to smaller developers

• Advising on the mezzanine financing of the Al Waab City development

Other Matters

• Advising Qatar Islamic Bank on the Sharia compliant refinancing (which included a mixture of Murabaha and Ijara structures) of the Singer company as part of its restructuring plan approved for the purposes of exiting a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in the United States

• Advising Qatar Petroleum on their US$1.2 billion debut bond offer

• Advising Qatar Islamic Bank on the structuring of a number of funds including its Sharia compliant €100 million real estate fund in France

• Advising both buyer and seller on the transfer of shares in Mesaieed Power Company

• Advising QP on its acquisition of a share in Qatar Vinyl Company

• Advising a major Saudi Arabia based food stuff company on its acquisition of a Qatari supermarket chain

• Advising the sponsors on all aspects relating to the establishment of Qatar First Investment Bank, its licensing by the Qatar Financial Centre and its US$1 billion private placement
